Absolutely not. Not on the phone or the internet. While they can be used for market research, they can also profile you as an individual.

At one time, American products were coveted worldwide, and they were never cheap.
Still, the World bought them because they were quality goods.
Somewhere along the way, about the time Bic pens and lighters were introduced, America's business model began to change. Quality and durability were sacrificed for greater profits. In a few years, the World's consumers began to realize they could buy the same cheap junk America began producing in their own backyards.
Refusing to leave the shortcut to profits path, American manufacturers blamed it on labor, and started outsourcing. It's been a race to ruin ever since.
Quality was America's competitive edge. Not price. No more.
Historians will cite blind, insatiable greed as being America's Achilles heel.
