How can we determine the difference between the Physics of the possible and impossible?

He would know better than I but, as we learn more and more about Quantum Mechanics, the line between the possible and impossible, at least for me, is becoming less and less defined.
On that very small scale, things that should be impossible happen routinely.
A couple of the things that determine what is or isn't possible are complexities and Space/Time, but now Super Computers are unraveling the complexities, and Quantum events seem to ignore the restrictions of Space/Time.
That makes it pretty hard to say, with any real confidence.... "Oh, no.... That will never ever be possible."

Just today while I was cooking and putting the groceries away. I heard about certain places in the Universe that have a special name where objects or ships could dock and hide. They feel that an advance Race would conceal themselves in such places and observe us.
They have not made contact because we are not ready.
Astronauts have said, they saw something observing them.

What do you think Kraven?
