How much stress is good for the brain?

They clearly are not sure.
All through college I was under stress but I learned to cope. I did well despite that I was usually nervous.
It did prepare me for work day stress. There are times of stress that I have experienced that know one is ever prepared for.

They may not be sure, but they're trying to figure it out.
I'm sure a certain amount of stress is good. As the article says it keeps you on your toes.
On the other hand, too much chronic stress can be crippling, and lead to physical health issues.
As for me, I dislike drama; especially unnecessary drama.
I try to avoid people that create it.
There are several reasons why people do it, I understand that and am sympathetic to the fact that they have issues, but I'm not willing to play along.
Playing along is rewarding bad, even self destructive, behavior.

I agree a little stress wakes us up and makes us work harder.
I think sometimes I have too much but working out helps me.
