Why not write poetry instead of listing the food ingredients -- at least on the french side of the product?

In his interview with This is That, Marc St. Louis, the head of Marketing for Gainey Foods, revealed why his company did this:
"If a product contains salt, in English you would just list 'salt.' But in French we want to know the story behind the salt. What makes it salt? Does this salt have a passion?"
(-hint: have fun with it, but don't take this too seriously...)
