No, we've been pretty lucky around here.
Most of the bad weather, like tornadoes, has been happening south of us... like in Iowa.
They've had some pretty bad tornadoes already this year.
I saw some stats on the news the other day. I don't recall the exact numbers, but they were talking about how many more tornadoes there have been than the average.
It wasn't just a little over the top, it was a lot over the average.
I hear the East Coast is getting battered again.

Ha! One of the bummers about my neighborhood is, when the power goes out, it's almost always just my side of the street.
It's been like that for years, so there must be a weak link somewhere that they've been ignoring.
It's almost funny.
Whenever it goes out you can look up and down the street , as far as the eye can see, and there are lights on one side and not the other.
People on my side should get cheaper rates.
