Subjective Opinion #1 from Triss' 2011 trip to Israel this Fall: "Israeli coffee is THE best coffee ever..."

... and I'm SO glad I finished my coffee fast in time to enjoy some in Jerusalem and environs! The coffee beans don't have that slightly burnt quality that I taste in North American coffee --- and often the milk or cream is warmed up before being served to you. Though, at times, you're given dried creamer instead of milk, if at a kosher establishment. But even then, the coffee itself generally beats North American coffee hands down! (And I rate Canadian coffee as generally tasting better than American coffee, for the record, at least better than Floridian coffee and better than that served as one travels along I-75 to get there...)

Certainly, agreed. Most coffee brands available to purchase tend to burn the beans to create an 'even taste' for their consumers. But Israeli coffee isn't 'burnt' --- at least not the coffee served in hotels.

I'm thinking of buying green coffee beans from a South Pacific island and baking them myself. Thus far, I've also decided to use a Bodem glass coffee filter and not a plastic coffee maker.

... And hello, how are you faring, these days, Philosopehr?

I prefer organic freshly ground beans but too often I use the Keurig K Cups. Paul Newsman is Organic. Green Mountain is too.
