What if, thousands of atoms could be entangled with a single photon?

You can make the argument that a single photon cannot possibly change the state of 3,000 atoms, but this one photon does — it builds up correlations that you didn’t have before,” says Vladan Vuletic, the Lester Wolfe Professor in MIT’s Department of Physics, and the paper’s senior author. “We have basically opened up a new class of entangled states we can make, but there are many more new classes to be explored.”

Pretty incredible.

Entanglement is one of the strange things that happen in the quantum world.
Entangled pairs are beyond imagination.
Entangled groups of thousands are beyond belief.

We're not in Kansas anymore, Toto.

It's that attitude that is partially responsible for how corrupt government has become.
It's essentially passing the burden of responsibility on to another.

I am always unsure about this stuff. It is a kind of alternate reality.
I wish an America scientist or Israelis would figure it out. This could neutralize nukes and destroy Iran's plans for WW3.
My religionist friends tell me God will provide answers. I was taught God helps those who help themselves. In other words science is key, we must not placate or help evil.
