Do you work out? Would you like another reason to start? Here is a new motivation.

I heard about theses possibilities for years. I am not surprised by this research.
The human body needs away to get rid of used parts that No longer do their jobs well. We need mitochondria that work well.

I did workouts in a gym sporadically for six or seven years and was consistent in going to the gym two or three times a week for three of those years. But I stopped going to the gym thirteen months ago now. I hired someone to teach me how to use free wieghts at home, though I only did that faithfully for several months. Maybe I'll get back to that, I'm not sure.

My 'workouts' now consist of walks with the dog several times a week, plus doing stretching and strengthening exercises several times a week. Usually one of those walks will be with my husband and the dog for a several hours' stretch of time.

I'd like to play badminton, if I could get myself out of the house at nighttime to do so... we'll see...

I'm borrowing my Mom's small trampoline --- it's presently in our living room and I try to get on it a couple of times a day -- after reading that article, I'll be on it longer than usual, today, lol!

It's amazing how much more energy I had when I was weight training. I miss that, though some fo my exercises do also include a weight element. I do need to raise my heart rate more frequently. i have jogged before; I guess I could try jogging again on warm winter days. Or just snowshoe up and down hills more often.

**THANKS for the encouragement, Phil.

I used to, and after reading this article, I think I should ramp up the exercise a bit.
I get some, but not as much as I should.

We talked about you trying out Firefox.
It's a browser like Explorer is.
If you have it downloaded, you would have a choice of using either one.. Firefox or Explorer.
Both do the same thing; navigate the net.
If you have the typing problem in Explorer, you could switch over to Firefox.
I'm not sure how Firefox sets up favorites, but I know once you've gone to a site it lists it in "Most Visited" in the upper left. Like where Explorer lists favorites.
It might be one way to get around the typing issue in Explorer.
Here's that link.

LOL I am use it now.
I have not found the time to do it because there has been Holidays, cleaning and numerous errands. My husband said, he uses the program. I will have to complain all week until he helps. If I were his sister he would have done it.
What was the Program called that I can down load? I am afraid he will say what program. He never up graded to Explorer 9.

With all the experience you've had, you could probably write your own fitness book.
I just hope one of those downloads will help.... either Firefox or upgrading Explorer.

Karven I use to go to the gym between two to three times a week and I worked out at home too. After my car accident I worked out three hours or more a day. At the gym three times per week. I took an Aerobics Class, Yoga, did Free Weights and Weight Machines. My back was fine because I built up my abdominals. When your in great shape life is so much easier. You move about with greater easer and have energy. People notice because you carry yourself well.
I am still in good shape but I was once in incredible shape. The accident forced me to work harder. To get back in shape. I went back to the gym after a year of having difficulty walking. Physical Therapy only helped so much.
Since my son was born I have not had enough time to work out as much as I did.
I worked out even when I worked full time.
Working out relives stress and does not have side effects like drugs do.
I hope to work more too.
LOL if, I made typos I once again I can't see what I am typing.
I hope I can fine time to down load the program this week.
Happy Saturday Karven.
