Have you read the facts about Monsanto, their lobbyist and our corrupt, unethical congress?

This is nothing those of us with working brain cells do not know but, it matters. I do not like the Times but, on this they are actually exposing the facts that most of the media ignores.
Read it here.

Good article.
The same kind of thing went on with the Tobacco Industry.
Both sides employ hired guns to influence government and consumers, so no one is really sure what's true and what isn't.
Since that's the case, consumers should be afforded freedom of choice through labeling.
And I don't mean vague and misleading labels.... Like "Natural".

The labels must be specific regarding GMOs, since that is the issue.
That puts both industry sides on equal footing and consumers would once again drive the market.

I found this from the article telling of Monsanto's regard, or disregard I should say, for consumers.

"Major brands like Chipotle and original Cheerios have moved to reduce or eliminate their use of genetically engineered ingredients, based in part on a marketing judgment that this is what the American public wants. That poses a threat to companies like Monsanto, which had $15.9 billion in global sales last year."

For companies like Monsanto, what consumers want is irrelevant, and even threatening to their industry.
So, they want to decide what consumers get via government influence etc.

That's not the America the Founding Fathers had in mind.

This morning I sent at least my tenth email about the dark to my senators. I also mentioned that they new the risk of tobacco and did not inform the public.
I made it clear that over 90% of American's want GM substances clearly labeled, that they are suppose to represent those who elected them not Monsanto and the international food industry. That educated, informed American's have read the research, those with common sense and awareness have read the research. If America is a democratic republic we have a right to know if, GM substances are in our food. Striping states of the right to label GM substances is unethical and I think also unconstitutional. We feel we are being ignored. If Monsanto had nothing to hide they would support labeling.
I sent them the link and said Monsanto progranda team is not deceiving most American. I urge you to vote against the dark and pass the De Fazio bill which dictates all GM food Karven, can you tweet the link, share with friends and be labeled in the U.S..
family.
